Signature Flatbreads produces a range of award-winning, high quality authentic flatbreads and morning goods. It has bakeries situated in Dunstable (UK) and Nashik (India) employing 1,000 employees. It supplies branded and own label products to supermarkets, QSR’s, Food manufacturers and other food service establishments.

5. ROLE SUMMARY

Highly driven and analytical, the Finance Analyst helps to deliver reliable financial information to the business. Focus on accuracy of activities whilst maintaining strict compliance to internal controls. The Finance Analyst will be a flexible, agile and self-motivated individual capable of operating in a challenging environment.
 
6. REPORTING AND KEY RELATIONSHIPS

The role reports to the Financial Controller with other key contacts being

Head of Finance
Finance & Commercial Teams
Stakeholders of the NAV system.

7. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the daily posting of cash receipts.
Weekly and monthly reconciliation of debtors and creditors to the trial balance along with internal & external reporting.
Work alongside Finance colleagues to prepare in a timely manner accurate weekly & monthly P&L reports.
Balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintenance and upkeep of core master data in NAV, for example vendor cards whilst ensuring all internal controls and procedures are adhered too.
Preparation of information for inclusion in the annual budget and ongoing forecasting.
Assistance with statutory reporting and annual audit.
Assist in the review and maintenance of strict internal controls.
Other ongoing finance projects across different business functions.

8. EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

Effective communicator; verbal & written.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and execute within deadlines.
FMCG, QSR or Food Service background preferred.

9. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Highly numerate.
Strong analytical Excel skills.

10. PERSON SPECIFICATION

Excellent stakeholder management including the ability to communicate outside of finance.
High attention to detail.
Adaptable with ability to respond to change in a fast paced environment. 

11. KEY MEASURES

Working towards a recognised Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Experience in a professional office environment.
Microsoft and relevant IT tools. ERP System, preferably NAV
