Signature Flatbreads produces a range of award-winning, high quality authentic flatbreads and morning goods. It has bakeries situated in Dunstable (UK) and Nashik (India) employing over 1,000 employees. It supplies branded and own label products to supermarkets, QSR’s, Food manufacturers and other food service establishments.

5. ROLE SUMMARY
Our growth has created a new position in our busy Technical Services Team. We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist with writing customer specifications and liaising with our customers on technical aspects associated with the manufacture of our bread products.
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the successful candidate is likely to have some experience of specification writing and technical management in the food industry. Technical qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Perfect written and spoken English is essential, together with an attention to detail. Customer liaison will involve striving to delight the customer whilst at the same time using your communication and diplomacy skills to ensure that requests are achievable. You will spend a percentage of your time in the factories each day ensuring that your customer’s requirements for product quality and factory standards are met. Factory visits by your customers will be an important aspect of the job and ensuring that these run smoothly during audits or new product development trials is a pre - requisite.
6. REPORTING AND KEY RELATIONSHIPS
The role reports to the Technical Services Manager with other key contacts being
Factory Technical Managers
Production Managers
7. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
To be the main technical contact for several key customers including blue chip retailers.
To write technical specifications
To ensure that factory and quality standards are maintained as required by your customers.
8. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Perfect written and spoken English is essential
Experience in a technical role in the food industry is desirable.
Training will be provided and for the right person
